This:
is these:
The S orrento needed expensive fixing, The Cornbinder donated some of its roof so another could be restored.
I’ve been told, that these harvesters drop onto an S10 extended cab chassis and basically just bolt right up. I’ve been told that by ‘car guys’ who as a culture, are known bullshitters. Also who knew the Sorrento was a full frame SUV. Bonus: Little brother Spo
rtage is also a full frame in it’s first gen.
I have not heard of these being used in any hot rodding activities, so someone should get on that.

I actually thought Harvester at first, and then I thought about all the harvesters I’ve seen IRL and they’re more blocky/angular.
Fun little puzzle, thanks!

Whaaaaaat I did not know the 1st gen Sorento was BOF. Wikipedia confirms. Wheelbase is 106.7" also per Wikipedia. I didn’t have luck with a minute of googling for IH wheelbases, but... it’s plausible, up there with dropping a F100 body on a Panther frame. It would work!

Pretty stout looking frame too. The old sportage has a mini version (based on old M azda Bongo)

I’ve heard rumours that the 115" IH truck bolts to the 117" S-10 frame like it’s lego.

I don’t know about like legos, but if you weld on some mounting points, it wouldn’t be too hard.
I misread your post- I though you were suggesting tossing a IH body on a Sorento frame, which would be incredibly weird, and therefore incredibly cool.
